Hawaiian shirts
So I recently purchased a men's Hawaiian shirt from a second hand/ vintage shop near me because I needed a new cover up for the beach and swimming pool. I realised that as well as it doubling as an awesome dress it can be a shirt too ! These shirts can be really cheap and they can make a statement. I really have worn it like 24/7 since I brought it because everyday you can have a new style by wearing the say garment but customising it, if you are thinking of buying one then definitely do. You can also experiment with ways of wearing it. Maybe you could try cutting the sleeves of or making a t-shirt dress (see post below) whatEver you choose to do remember to revamp using things that you can find around the house because there is no point buying things you may already own !
Here's what I did with the Hawaiian shirt

I need something else to do
So... I went around my house collecting bits and bobs from when I was a kid and put them into two bags. One of them has arty stuff and one had kinda creepy kiddy things that I found - dont ask so yep, when I am in an arty mood I can look in those boxes for inspiration. I don't know if it's a coincidence that the creepy box is A LOT more full than the arty one - I don't know what that says about me. And me even being bothered to go around ,y house looking for stuff like that is kinda sad, and yes I know... I need more of a life, and I defo need a new pass time cos all I think of doing is either making silly collages on my wall or taking photos or shopping for clothes that I know I will never wear. Urrrggg ,y life ---- πππ»πΈππ¬
So yep this is the creepy kiddy one :

Scarfs, and all that jazz
This is a cool way to jaz up those old scarfs haha and guess what ! No sewing needed ! It may look tricky but it looks amazing x maybe some dark greens and blacks would be nice colours !

Iron ons
It's quite straight forward really. All you need is an iron and an iron on patch, then you urm... Iron it on.
So yeah you get the gist.

Badges can do great things
So I had these curtains but they were a bit boring and didn't really fit the style of the rest of my bedroom so I decided to customise them ; I found some old badges and just pinned them on
Your never to old for stickers
Lets pretend we are in year 2 again,
A quick and easy way to make stickers π
Step 1
Find some scirrors, tape and a cut out from a magazine (print outs don't usually work as well - shiney paper is better )
A quick and easy way to make stickers π
Step 1
Find some scirrors, tape and a cut out from a magazine (print outs don't usually work as well - shiney paper is better )
Step 2:
Stick a piece of tape over the front of the cut out, it doesn't matter if its messy but make sure it covers it all, if the picture is too big for normal sized tape than maybe find some see through duct tape (yes, it does exist) Which you can maybe find in some hardware shop ? Comment bellow if you know where you can get them. Rub the tape with your fingers to make sure there are no air bubbles underneath it and so that the ink is properly onto the tape.
Step 3
Run it under warm water, the bigger the sticker the longer it will take to make the paper dissolve. Rub the paper after a few minutes if it has not already dissolved, it should come of easily,
Step 4
Leave to dry
Step 5
stick where ever you want to the tape may of lost its stick from the water but it comes back
Maybe try it with pictures or even photographs! - hers one i made earlier ; ( always wanted to say that)
Be as creative as you want !
